Interesting obit. He and his brother accomplished a lot in their lives. Great part of LSU football history.

Wow, he survived Hacksaw Ridge in WWII. Thanks for sharing. RIP.

Interesting that he would have concluded his college career at the age of 26-27. He was one of so many WWII veterans that came back to finish college AND play sports as well.
RIP sir and thank you for your service...to the country and LSU !

That dude was my NAUI scuba Instructor like 28 yrs ago....never knew all of that about him.
