Sorry. Didn't mean it to sound like I was a poor sport.

don't worry about it. some of us are a little sensitive. we are used to dealing with all the flamers from within the SEC.
glad you had a good time down in Louisiana.
come back and see us again sometime.

Check his numbers. No tackles. No Sacks. 1 pass break-up. Far from being individually dominant
Good thing for ya'll he wasn't or the score may have been 90-0.

For what it is worth.....I thought Armanti had as good an outing as possible. His team mates gave him nothing to work with and he never lost his composure. I was very impressed with AE.

Disrupting the Oline, putting pressure on the QB and busting up running lanes doesnt always make it into the stat book unfortunately. Neither does amount of double teams. Trust me, he and the other DL assortment did exactly what they intended to do even if the stats dont show it. Armanti never had time and never had any rhythm. The running game was put on lockdown.

On the DL, few stats does not equal little impact fyi. Just watch the tape again, youll see what im talking about.

Actually I was disappointed by Edwards. According to message boards (we know how accurate) Edwards would beat LSU with his legs.

ASU simply didn't run the ball up the middle, nor throw much from the pocket. It's that simple.

I have a feeling alot of teams will utilize quick throws and qb rollouts to prevent their oline from collapsing this year. Our DL is just too strong. Not only that, it wont stop for 4 quarters with our depth. I mean Woods, T. Johnson, Alem, and Nevis looked just like starters playing out there last game.

no doubt the best all around defense we have EVER faced and i have been attending App games since 1985. my wish is that LSU goes undefeated and unscored on the rest of the season, making our loss easier to swallow. i never expected us to win, but also didn't expect to be shut down so hard. no excuse, but our receivers let us down with 8 drops i counted in the replay.
good luck

I have to say that Edwards is a real baller. He got knocked around pretty good and almost had his head taken off. He kept scrapping. Your comment about the dropped passes is accurate. The Mountaineer offense would have been more productive if the receivers held their end of the deal. One thing that needs to be fixed is that the A.S. offense can't look to A.E. to carry the team. It just isn't possible for one or two guys to win for the whole team. LSU shuts A.E. down and the rest is a cake walk. No doubt that you guys have the horses to play with more balance. Correct that little attitude problem and you should roll the rest of the year.
