with this run game LSU has this year, we don't need a jamarcus type QB, just someone to hand the ball of to.
It's going to be fun to watch RM,CSA,KW,TH,and SR pound the rock.

I like how LSU is "under the radar" this year.
LSU plays better when the networks say LSU won't do well.
There is NO pressure on the team, which is a good thing. And with so many waiting behind a dorsey,a hester, a doucet, or a zenon, these is the season to shine IMO.
Keiland, Charles, Richard and Trindon are going to have people around the country going "wait, I thought LSU was supposed to SUCK!!?!?!"

Scariest part of that video is as sick as Murphy is, he's still at best the 3rd option, if not 4th at running back. Scott is the most complete back LSU has bar none. Williams has the most potential of any back. If he picks up his blocking assignments he'll be the clear cut starter. Trindon is the fastest man in football, what else can you say. Murphy is a solid back and would start for a lot of teams. Watching this video though, it shows me he really doesn't have good speed. He is quick, but not that fast. He got ran down by a huge guy from Louisiana Tech. Does he have any long touchdown runs in his career at LSU? I just don't see him getting more than 70-80 carries on the year. Not with the other guys on this team. Not to mention Dickson, Byrd, Lafell, and Toliver. There are only so many balls to go around.

Murphy had a long of 53 yards last year. I think people put too much weight in that one play against La.Tech. He was veering away from traffic and that dude had the angle on him from the get. We should blame D Byrd for not blocking him probably too! ;) Just saying...I know he went 50+ on a swing pass and on a run in the spring game!

I haven't seen the video because my blackberry won't play it...but is the swing pass he caught against Kentucky on there? He completely destroyed that db as well. I don't know how that hit compares to the lick he put on Francios but it got me fired up.
