Side note: My mom rarely watches CFB, but when she does, it's only LSU. She mainly likes the NFL. If my mom likes an NFL QB, she becomes a fair-weather fan of that team, even though she was once a Saints season ticket holder. Brees, Mahomes, Burrow, Jayden have all made their teams must-see tv for her, at one point or another.

Yesterday, she texted: "What time is Pavia playing Saturday?"

You know it's bad when the college Mom would rather watch is Vandy.

The D did not have a plan for Pavia - that simple. If they had taken away 1 or 2 of his runs - we win.

He had a couple miraculous plays too to extend drives. If those don't happen, we might win as will. He's just a really good college quarterback.

Our offense couldn't stay on the field and score against a below average SEC defense, statistically. They are well disciplined, but not very talented.

Watching one of our linebackers who will remain nameless completely bust his assignment on some of those plays was absolutely mind boggling.

Defense was out of position more than they were in the right place. Over pursuit and running themselves out of the play, no lane discipline.

I’m more pissed we lost Ole Miss than the Vandy game.

Vandy was coming off a bye and I knew we didn’t matchup well with them. Running QB, with heavy TE use team. No Gooden, Butler, Reliford, Weeks. Our lockdown corners were pretty much uselsess.

3rd and Pavia F’ing killed us.

What about 3rd and Chambliss? Or fourth & Chambliss? Baker and his "elite defense" had no answer for very simple, vanilla slant passes that would have gotten the Rebels off the field if properly played.

I'm really tired of reading about our "elite defense". They allowed Marcel Reed and Jalen Milroe to run rampant last year, and any team that's had even a wisp of a pulse on offense this year to run and pass at will against them. From what I've seen, they're as responsible as the impotent offense for the losses.

Ole Miss our defense was on the field way too long. We gave up 24. Georgia gave up 5 straight TDs to OM.

Our offense lost the game in Oxford

As soon as Van Buren learns the playbook and Berry follow Curne through the hole.

I was talking to a guy at work about this. That 22 yrd TD run for Pavia does not happen if we stop them on one 3rd down back up the field...
