My bad on the misspellings. You stupid idiots that focus on that suck. I mean it really. All I am trying to say is the defense can be exploited a little bit and our offense is really questionable. We have made miraculous special teams and defensive plays and that is awesome. I want JL to be great but....and JJ is no savior. We may be alright but we better drink our own Kool Aid. And frick you bunch of college nerd/turds....for wasting my and everybody elses time with your useless responses.

I shouldn't of read this thread. UF (with Brantley) is not better than Oregon.

Oregon Offense still >>>>>>>>>> Florida offense.

ETA: Note to mention Florida's currently crippled offense.

UF still has better athletes on offense (across the board and in depth) and a better, more athletic defense. It's no cakewalk for LSU.

I've watched 3 complete Oregon games this year, and they are NOWHERE near what they were last year. So, no UF > Oregon with healthy Brantley.

Yep, Oregon has only put up 69, 56, and 56 points in their three games since LSU. Not to mention they had two of their best athletes hobbled with tweaked annkles after the LSU game. NO WHERE near as good as they were last year when they were scoring well over 100 on ever opponent!!! GTFO!!!

Me thinks you forgot about the WVU game. That's what really hurt the number 1 defensive ranking.

LSU is totally built on Defense and special teams. This offense is fairly conservative, for a good reason.
While Lee has looked good, he still has some really bad tendencies that if he doesn't correct them will get him in trouble against better D's. There were at least 4 passes against Ky that should have been Int's.
This isn't putting down on Lee. He's done fine. But, the fact of the matter is Lee is serviceable. Will that be enough as the season goes along? We shall see.

I think we'll see JJ involved a little more each week. That's not saying much because I think he's just serviceable as well.

huh? Oregon has the #1 offense in the nation. Florida has a true freshman pro style qb making his first career start on the road against the #1 team in the nation with a killer defense and in Tiger Stadium. I say again, huh?

BS...there was not one pass dropped by a KY DB.

I think Oregon is a very good team. They play much better defense than people think because everyone focuses on their blur offense. Didn't they hold Auburn to 22 points last year, and didn't Cam have his least productive game against them? Remember, they stayed unbeaten even though Cal held them to 15 points by holding Cal to 13. Oregon can play. WV may turn out to be very good but the jury is still out on that team.

Well, other than the Bama game, UF's offensive line has not played anyone to know how good it would be. It was supposed to be one of the weaknesses of this team this year and that showed against bama and will show against lsu....against lesser teams it didnt show

fixed that one for you

you are a major homer...but it's okay, i understand. I don't think you realize that the D you saw last week will be as good or even better this week...and you won't be in the swamp. I feel for your fresh qb. I imagine we see some of burton, or a lot of him.

No cakewalk...but the fresh qb will not make it...i expect to see a running qb in there....expect florida D to play tough early...and get worn down....a final of something like 24-7 or 28-10 is my guess. Florida may have better athletes...but they cannot compare to oregon on offense. They had better athletes last year too, and were horrible on O. Without Brantley they are fricked...even with him, they were no oregon.

yet they still lead the nation in offense, and did put up 27 points against LSU. Great post. You had played no one prior to Brantley. Everyone thought Miss State had a great offense too...just saying.

Convenient that you leave out the part where I said "then again, a LSU blowout victory wouldn't surprise me".

Saying I think LSU wins in a 20-13ish kind of game makes me a complete homer, right?

And no, Oregon hasn't impressed me at all. Each GOOD defense they have played this year (Auburn in NCG and LSU in Dallas) has shut them down completely. They are the same team from last year, with a WORSE defense (they lost their best 2 defensive players IIRC from last season).

I said it in another thread. The Florida Defensive and offensive lines are solid but average. They looked great until they had to play Bama. Put some major talent against them and they are not that great. It's Florida and an SEC game so everyone will be pumped up. However, I still think the Florida lines are average at best. We win in the trenches and I'd be surprised if Florida's QB (gonna be a great QB in years to come) finishes the game.

I agree. I'm expecting a combined score under 50.

Not to worry, the gator is still butt hurt since bama took them to school last week. They will be fired up this week but defense wins Champion ships. Lsu 35 Fla. 17
