I really think LSU is put in a difficult position. If no discussion from Wade, and they reinstate him, and the NCAA investigation ensues, finds wrongdoing, more severe sanctions will follow. LSU cannot ignore the wire taps because they have a duty to the NCAA to mitigate damages. So, the bottom line is caution. LSU cannot afford to be sanctioned by the NCAA for the next 3-5 years because they didnt take steps necessary (if it ends badly). Its not just now, its for years to come.

Pick a side! Either you believe in the Coach or you take the side of the Administration, you can’t have it both ways! I say frick the Administration, especially after that statement from WW!

How could you support the administration at this point? They are run by a bunch of clowns.

What are they going to do, give us a 5 years post-season ban?

Before Wade we were undergoing self-inflicted post-season bans anyway.

If we cheated who cares if we get 3-5 year sanction or even death penalty

After it is over you pay 3-4 of top 100 to come play try not to get caught

Umm, where was this caution when Alleva and co. tried to compel Wade to talk to them AND NCAA officials without his legal counsel, then subsequently suspending him?

Why was it so important that the LSU admin act in that second instead of letting it play out? They didn't protect LSU from shite; they invited new scrutiny and undermined their coach.

frick them all. I love LSU, but if it's required to clean house, then I hope it all comes burning down. Right now. Today.

As long as it won’t spread to other sports, I say we should take our chances for an awesome coach.

No, insane is ruining someone’s career by rushing to judgement. Insane is suspending a player just because it is assumed his name was mentioned. Oh wait, Alleva’s done this before. Did he ever apologize?

It is far worse if he’s innocent to hold him out than just finish out this season.

Insane is bringing more negative attention to this program. Insane is not going to bat for your coach against people like Dick Vitale. Ben McDonald went to bat against Vitale, LSU should have had patience and understanding right now. It’s not going to save much of anything if he even was guilty.

Far more downside by unnecessarily rushing to judgementment.
