Give me a fricking break.

It was time for him to go, but that doesn't diminish his entire tenure no matter how much you want it to.

It;s hilarious you try to play fan police when it comes to O (Who you were just as negative about last year btw ), but you still can't help yourself with trying to minimize some of LSU's golden years.

I was wrong....until I wasn't. Nothing like having to depend on good ol Pitt to prop up Les's one NC but hey....its a skin so we'll take it right?

Like I said, only took a decade.

Saban has backed into multiple championships in worse ways than '07 LSU supposedly did, do they magically not count?

This thread is evidence of LSU having a great season.

So sue me...I'm greedy...I wanted more than what we got from Miles. Those years should have been more "goldener."

Not with two losses dude come on....and certainly not to the likes of UK and Arky at home (McFadden be damned).

No doubt Bama has backed into a few CGs they didn't deserve.

Les Miles was one of the worst coaches in LSU history no matter how much you try to prop him up

Recruiter and motivator no...he was legit.

Game time coach dealing with X's and O's...not so much. Had he hired right and deferred to these coaches....he would have no less than 3 NCs IMO.

O is doing what Miles couldn't bring himself to do....relinquish complete control and surround himself with talent and let folks do their thing.

This is so dumb. The only coaches since 2000 with more consistent year over year success have been Saban, Meyer, and Dabo Sweeney. That's it. It's a very short list. Miles was extremely frustrating and it likely was time for him to go; however, he was indeed one of the best coaches in LSU Football.

Also, I know we're all riding high right now with Coach O, but I seem to remember in 2011 we were also cleaning up during awards week and Les Miles also won coach of the year. Coach O has had a fantastic year, but let's not all pretend like we loved him the last 3 years.

I'm enjoying this year and will always be grateful for Coach O's performance this year, but let's see how he does after Joe B is in the NFL.

"Hating" is not voicing an opinion.
Les's refusal to change after he had the long term contract for security. All that money and no results until the program was mediocre. That's the rub.

His last full season was 9-3 with a cancelled game against McNeese. So essentially 10-3 is mediocre in your opinion

I would really like to know what Les inner thoughts are watching our offense destroy everyone this year.

Maybe because with Dee Anderson, Derrick Dillon, Drake Davis, Tyron Johnson, Terrace Marshall, Justin Jefferson and Stephen Sullivan all figured to be on the roster on the roster when Chase arrived, he figured that depth at corner? That maybe it might be better idea than having 5-6 4* WR's on the bench while he ran an offense that used a fullback. Maybe you haven't noticed the lack of depth at corner the last 2 years? We had to ask WR's to play corner in the Fiesta Bowl.
