Who's happy about it? I'm not. But you have to be realistic about what we are competing against in our division.

Its the one game season mentality that has ruined this LSU team and this canvass for most part. I understand how important beating bama is. But, some of you still have the mindset that we are neck and neck with them. Which couldn't be further from the truth.

I have no illusions, but the team did appear to "give up" towards the end of the game. Their body language said it all.

Couple that with Miles comment about not able to get them "up" for certain games, 4th in the west, etc.

Unless the team has a leader(s) that can drive home the spirit of finishing strong for pride....they very well could be in trouble.

the last 2 seasons it seems the only team the coaches and players get up for is bama

Nobody in the nation is neck and neck with what Bama has done the last 5 years. Everyone would do well to realize that.

Not to bring up 1/9/12, but lsu hasn't handled pressure situations late in games since then (UF'12,UA'12,Clem'12,UGA'13 and OM'13). When it comes to detail and discipline during the crucial parts of games, we come up short.

Explain what is changing at UF and A&M that is going to make them any good?

I'm not saying we won't beat them...I'm saying there not going to sit around on their hands while we suddenly get better. Plus our propensity to play down to the level of the competition.

A&M loses Manziel and Evans. That is their entire offense. UF is in a tailspin.

Is that why we beat Auburn handily and destroyed MSU?

Everyone realizes this....they just don't like it. I know....there aint shite we can do about it. But its fking Bama....I would rather see SC or ND run the table 4 out of 5 years than have to watch these insufferable priks do it again.
The average LSU prolly feels the same.

We both know the Aubie team we played early in season is not quite the same team hitting on all cylinders right now...And Moo St. is...well.. Moo St....overrated.

this. however I like having Alabama and Ole Miss in our house with 103,500 next season! The revenge will be swift, brutal, and loud.

that does explain why we slowed down against Auburn in the second half.

Is it OK that we break in a young QB, before we hit the SEC schedule? Do you want to schedule all top 10 teams, so AJ gets his confidence shot, and then bitch about why we lost so many games? Some of the selfishness around here is unreal. Think about things sometimes people.

As far as A&M & Sumlin go, I think people forget his QB tutelage.

Winning by 2 scores against a team that is currently 9-1 is playing down to them now?
