Hasn’t been in weeks. Sitting out a game may be what he needs

Hughes makes another mistake, Reid might sub in at 3rd base

When is the last time you watched a game?

I’ve watched all but 3-4 games this year. Chris has been getting some BS strike calls; not his fault that he knows the zone better than the ump.

I think teams have figured out that if you throw strikes over the middle of the plate early in the count Reid won’t swing. I get it’s his thing to work counts but he’s become pretty damn predictable. There are times when swinging early in the count is ok and encouraged. I was also surprised he lost his cool last night. Thought he was close to getting tossed after his last at bat as he had been barking at the ump the last two ABs

Reid has really struggled this past week, especially with the strikeouts, which is the odd part about his slump.

Not disputing this at all but Gio K’d both times he saw Small
Hopefully he knows what to look for tonight

Small isn’t pitching tonight to my knowledge unless something has changed the last few hours

Giacomo looked absolutely horrible last time he was in the lineup. I’d rather see Willis in.

His average has dipped to .250. He has had a very rough past few weeks. I'm sure he will be back in the lineup soon.

Stop. He can’t go up there expecting to walk every time. Reid has just not been seeing the ball well lately

Take out one lefty. Put in another.

Crazy how our offensive lineup is in literally the exact opposite scenario of our pitching staff

not to be that guy but I predicted this last week. I just assumed Bianco or Willis would take his place though

I was wondering if they would make this move, his ABs were pretty rough last night after some struggles the past few weeks. I'd really like to see him back at 1B soon if he can get his plate approach back on track.

sad but I believe Chris is something like 1 for his last 28 at bats. I hate to see this at the end of the season since he's been money all year long.

Might be a great opportunity for him to watch some baseball and relax a bit. I'm sure he is still at the top of the list to pinch hit, and I am sure he will come through in that spot.

Kind of petty, but I'd rather this from the bottom of the lineup.

6 - Hughes
7 - Gio
8 - Garza
9 - Broussard

Also, it was time for Reid to sit & regroup himself. He hasn't been very good the last few weeks.
