Regarding the DJ - If you went to the game, please fill out the survey they emailed

LSU sent an email with a survey this morning and they want your opinion on the game day experience. Please fill it out and let them know that the DJ and emcee BS has got to go. That was the least Tiger Stadium thing I’ve ever witnessed in all my years of being a fan.

Let Louisville have the DJ. They were first.
And that girl’s mic volume needs to be turned down (preferably off). She was ear piercing and annoying.

Having a DJ at the game is just a part of the stadium experience these days. I'd say a lot of the college programs(even pro teams) have them, part of trying to be "cool" with the middle school-college aged fans. The emcee was too much to me though, a DJ and school band is enough.

That’s stupid. Tiger Stadium’s essence is built around traditions and a DJ and emcee are not part of that tradition. Some things need to remain original.

Tiger Stadium doesn’t do gimmicks and a DJ/emcee are gimmicky. It needs to stop immediately. Unfortunately LSU will likely double down on it.

They did the same thing in Omaha. It was really weird but baseball always has a lot of promotional stuff going on.
They also need to put up the words to the National Anthem and Alma Mater. I know them but the younger crowd can learn them.

Yea, I noticed the lyrics were gone too. Instead they kept up ads to make sure everyone knew to buy Manda Fine Meats because frick the national anthem and the alma mater.

I think the DJ may be good in a big game. He does not need the loud chick as emcee. But if the kids like it I could see the student section being into it for big games. We are pumping in music anyway. He knows what they want to hear more than the TS PA crew.
Also - how the hell can the chick with the mobile mic spit our eardrums but you can’t understand anything else the PA people say?

My fear is that they will "fix" the emcee issue by lowering her mic. I doubt the LSU promotions department is self-aware enough to hear the criticisms and eliminate it altogether.
