Students aren't going to stop especially if you tell us .

We already resent the older crowd for only holding their weight unless its a 1 vs 3 in TS.

If it wasnt for the students TS would be as loud as a Uhigh game this season

Yea lets take away seats from the loudest part of the crowd. That would sure teach us a lesson. If you don't want to hear people cursing, there is a Saturday afternoon mass that you could attend instead.

You must think I'm way old judging by your reply. I'm only 23 and only a year removed from college myself. I'm not telling students to stop chanting, I'm saying to do it in a way that doesn't take the songs away from students due to bad language. I have only been able to make it to one game this year due to my job, but I can promise you I don't leave until the game is over. It's a shame we have fans that do, but then again, what are we supposed to do? chain people to their seats?

and it will be the end of Tiger Stadium as we know it. there's a reason why it's considered such a hostile environment, and its not the 50 year olds. and like i said before, im not defending their actions, just playing devil's advocate

Dude, you do understand that we've been around long enough to see students with your attitude about this grow up and begin to talk just like us in regards to the chants.

Have the entry qualifications to attend LSU dropped or did you get in under some kind of 'special' program?

Really, dude? I mean...REALLY????

LOL, are you saying you can't be loud without cursing ? Are you really saying this. I scream my head off most of the game and not one curse word comes out, it's possible !

Hey, when I see a boneheaded play on the field I'll be the first to admit that a f bomb may come raining down. However, this chant doesn't have anything to do with how intimidating TS is or how loud our student section is. This is just cussing to be cussing, it doesn't help our team in any way, shape or form.

I love going to games and plan on donating a shite ton to to the school when I get out. And yes my decision would change if they took away my student tickets because they didnt like our language in a college environment.

You are practically taking your kids to a college bar when you come to TS and you are surprised their is behavior not suitable for children?

Actually, lets do. Those seats are worth huge bucks for LSU.

no, but i am saying that the students section is the loudest part of the stadium. take away their tickets as punishment and it will not be as loud.

LSU's minimum ACT scores have skyrocketed in recent years and trust me I was not even remotely close to not getting in.

Student section ruining Owe-O is the absolute worst. Unforgivable.

I don't give a crap what they say or how they act during the game, but group chanting with incredibly lame cursing that leads to songs getting killed managed to not happen for years. I think most of the student section has never sat anywhere else in the stadium. Yeah, the student section is like a college bar and that's fine, but the rest of the stadium isn't.

Dude, after you graduate and go on to bigger an better things you're gonna have kids of your own. And one day you're going to want to take them TS for the games. And don't give me the "I'm not gonna care what my kids hear" argument because you will. We're just saying that over the years we've seen the language get worse and worse and at some point it should be toned down a bit. That's all.

I agree completely i can't wait to bring my kids to TS but although I wont want my kids to hear that i also wont expect anything different.

The day the non student fans stay the whole game and help us cheer I will stop cursing

Then stop being a dumbass. You will eventually grow the frick up. But in the mean time, why do the rest of us have to be exposed to your immature ignorance?

That's where you fail. They're not acting like adults. They may have adult sized bodies but still operate with the brain of a 10 year old boy who thinks curse words are funny.
