You are ommitting one very big name though Tebow, even though team went 8-5 he won a Heisman therefore it wasn't his fault they struggled.

I was focused in on team success, though I agree it wasn't Tebow's fault the Gators were 8-5.

DJ Shockley remains the only first year starting QB to win the SEC this decade. You have to go all the way back to Tee Martin in the 90's for the one before that.

Both were mobile QB, as opposed to drop back passers.

As but if you listen to probably 80% of this board JJ is more of a drop back QB than running QB. Therefore the only truly mobile QB we have on the roster is Shep.

I should clarify...
Just b/c JJ thrwos for 322 a game and runs for a buck 22 with 7 tds in your PS3 world doesnt mean its gonna happen in real life.

JJ does more for me... more like 350 yards a game and 180 on ground. Usually 4 touchdowns passing and 4 running.... I have won the Heisman every year and JL is runner up.

And everyone is overestimating this kid IMO. He will have around the same amount of picks as TDs, and throw for 2,000 yards tops. However, he will provide a spark with his legs and make plays outside of the pocket at times, even though he is a natural pocket quarterback.

Lee will play this year, and he will play a lot.

No I am not... because I still root for Lee to have success at LSU and end his career on a positive note.

Also because I think Bama could beat us this year and I picked Bama to beat us last year.

I can not be a favorite, as I have been told I am not a true fan.

he will get heisman votes this season he's that good, unless he gets hurt in that case RS comes in.

3 games, a 53% completion percentage tells you this? 9 sacks, 4 fumbles, 4 touchdown thrown, 1 Interception tell yous he will get Heisman votes?

I think you are more likely to get Heisman votes than JJ.

If anyone on LSU gets a vote for Heisman its going to be Charles Scott I think he goes off this year.

1600-1800 yards
5.7 average
15-21 touchdowns

Did JR get a Heisman vote after his 06 season? I mean other than that only player I can think of would be Reed or Faulk who was talked about in Heisman talk.

"DJ Shockley remains the only first year starting QB to win the SEC this decade"

Didn't Flynn win the SEC and NC as a first year starter?

As far as JJ's stats, I would just look at Crowton's QB stats from Oregon, BYU, and La Tech. This will be his type of QB and I suspect similar type of offensive numbers.
