I haven't checked to see the truthfulness of this stat....
However, if true that is a scathing argument against our offense. It further puts massive pressure on the defense to be able to stay on the field for long stretches of time.
Can't control starting field position. You can thank PP7 for that stat. Also, we had multiple drives cut short due to us having 5 turnovers.

It is not that JJ is really good or really bad, as both of those statements are incorrect
as with prior quarterback arguments on the Rant, if you could nuke about 5 unobjective users on each side of the argument, the noise level would drop exponentially...

(when you need 8 and you throw for 4 .....)
Why have your TE run 4 yards and you need 8 yards- He runs the play they call so bash crow!

the one where he let the defender drive him back, then pitched to Shep from about 6 feet away was about as fundamentally flawed as you'll ever see the option run....
Not every play is going to be run to perfection.

didn't see anyone else post that. I think he'll finish around 22/10.... Will that be good enough? I dunno...

I just followed the posters line of reasoning, when he gave JJ credit for 26 TDS. See how that works?
Do you think he'll throw 2 TDS each game?
Would you or would you not be happy with the performance I listed. 2k+ yards in the air, 26 TDs, and ~10 INTs.
Quit dodging the question.

I think he'll average that, yes

He's talking about the play where JJ didn't hit Clement for a first down and instead checked down to RR. He has NO clue if Clement was even open at the right time.

no, it was just as fundamentally flawed as last year's...he was damn lucky Shep fielded the ball

But was HE the reason LSU almost choked that game away sat night? Or even a main reason?
his 2nd halves of football, ever since he has played, has been horrible.
Miss St last year. Almost cost us the game.
FL last year. Zero 2nd half points.
ALA last year. We had like 1-2 1st downs the whole 2nd half.
LA Tech last year. WE score ONE Field goal in the 2nd half. LA TECH!!!!
Ole Miss last year, we managed 6 2nd half points. We lose on a FG.
Lets date back to the end of 08 when Jefferson saw action.
Ole Miss game. 3- 2nd half points.
ARK game. WE put up 23 1st half points, and score 7 in the 2nd half. In the 2nd half, we start 3 drives in ARK territory. And Dont score on 2 of them. And lose by ONE point!

there were 5 eligible recivers on the play... FIVE

true.

So what? Is that not the fault of the offense? Is that not a problem that contributed to a max of 30 yards?

That doesn't mean that they were open. The fact that he hit RR means that he went through his progressions.

We gained yards on option plays. . .it was a strength.

It's not Jeffersons fault -- which is who we are discussing here. Jefferson threw an INT that really didn't matter at all.

We couldn't even get field goals out of that field position. The field position thing doesn't exactly help your argument.

So did I. You can see him open late in the play.. but how do you know he got separation early enough?
He was off screen.

JJ looked fine in the 2nd half. Crowton puckered up.
