Ridley's fumbles don't fall on the shoulders of JJ.
So LSU is 107th in pass offense because Ridley fumbled while running the ball?

Also I agree that after 2 games in which most of the big programs have played shitty Sisters of the Poor teams, it's too early to freak out about the redzone efficiency.

Hey, the team needs to stop with the big play and kick more FGs from the 20 and inside.
Damn that Miles.

This is how I interpreted it also. And as it is with all statistics, the numbers need an interpretation. We have a low red zone efficency because we never got to the red zone. We scored before that. Another thing is that you have a very small sample upon which to make categorical and definitive statements. You have two games from across the board with each team playing different opponents early in the season. This is a statistic best viewed in late October or November.

LSU is 107th in pass offense because LSU is 108th in pass attempts per game.

Okay this stat is legit. All you ppl saying that its only two games does not make a difference. LSU is leading the nation in sacks, but I don't hear anyone saying that its only two games. Our offense really is that bad due to jj and playcalling...on the bright side defense makes this team watchable

Very hard in my mind to make definitve predictions about anything after two games with mixed competition. If you believe that we have poor offensive production, I can accept that. If it seems that we have potential on defense, I can accept that, too.
Offense needs to get on track, and defense needs to make the steady improvement toward consistency and perfection. I have been impressed with the play of the RS and true freshmen. And I will violate everything I just said here. I am looking ahead to NEXT year and beyond. We seem well situated to compete in the SEC, but we will need to have quality performance out of the QB whoever he is.

You're using individual player stats.
Let me repeat what I said before you attempted to correct me:
quote:You attempted to correct my use of team stats by using individual player stats.
LSU is 107th in pass offense because LSU is 108th in pass attempts per game.
I was totally and completely 100% right.

Wow you're a dick. I posted what I was looking at and where I got my info. I entered "NCAA team pass attempts per game 2010" into Google, clicked on the ESPN link, and posted what I saw. You found different information and were correct. Congrats, but you're reaction just makes you Just Dick.

in team statistics ESPN has LSU at 100th for attempts and 98 for completions and 90th qb rating and 107 yards per game, 88 yards per attempt and ranked 101 in yards.

Honest question because I don't know. How does that equal 107th pass offense? Was the 107th posted here strictly for passing yards?

Also if it's strictly yards that is not as bad as it seems as LSU seemed to start at midfield or better every drive against UNC thanks to PP's returns. If you have a shorter distance to go, obviously you'll have less yards.
