I hope your right...but realistically, Orange Bowl. AU will lose to Bama.

This thread is useless until the results of the Ar-Kansas game.

FIFY. That is why I threw out some roughly accurate chances for each bowl.

The only BCS bowl I see us going to is the Sugarbowl. If not that then I would like to see us in the Cotton Bowl.

The field shouldn't be an issue anymore...they installed an artificial surface in the summer.
It'll never be finished in time.

Apparently there is some history between the Aggies and your school and the PTB's think it would be a good match up.

OMG!!!!! I know i'm older than some of the Rantards and I wasn't around for the first 77 years of LSU football but I know it's history!

LSU played A&M every year for about 20 years in the 60's and 70's and it was a GREAT rivalry.

Started in July, finished in November along with $9 million in other renovations. The feild was actually the first project finished (playable in mid October). Its FAKE TURF. Rip up, level, add substrate, level, roll out, add ballast, PLAY BALL! We have trucks and road graders here in Florida.

As well as a couple of home and homes in the 80's that I attended. aTm used to be a big recruiting rival in and around Lafayette and the western parishes. Stole Jerry Fontenot (Laf. High) from the Tigers in the mid 80's as well as others my chemically scarred brain will not let me recall at the moment....But yeah "apparently there's some history there."

I suggested this a couple of weeks ago and a poster said I was nuts. Just watch.

I'm sure you keyboard warriors will correct me (quickly and with much sarcasm) if I'm wrong but it would take AU winning the Iron bowl and SECCG, Tigers beating Ark and OSU some how finishing second in the Big Ten. Right? Big Ten Champ to Rose if not in the title game (which they will not be) SEC champ to Sugar unless in the NCG which if they beat the Tide and East S.C. and go to the NCG. Blah Blah Blah ad nauseum! Hell, open the Buffalo Trace and kick the damn balls off and put all this speculation to bed!

Orange or Sugar if BCS
Cotton bowl if no BCS

I don't think we go to the Capital One again and Outback takes the SEC East teams, so not there either. Next best bowl would be the Cotton. We are too far up to go to Chick fil A.
