Oh I see your logic or lack there of. Because I refuse to say I think he is good enough to win the SEC and contend for the BCS next season I am in the wrong, have no clue what I am talking about and think all the other wins have to do with "luck". See that is what you lovers do. People don't agree with your perspective and you start calling names and making fun of and such.
You and I both know a couple of games this year were won on pure luck. If not you are in complete denial. And I will admit he won other games without having to rely on luck, talent won them and even a little coaching. Luck has to do with the game and pretty much any sport. Getting a hole in one in golf when I play is luck, finding a school of 100 2-4lb trout in miles and miles of marsh and limiting out when I go fish has a little luck to it as well. Look we could debate this and go on all night, hell even up to kickoff against Oregon in Sept. You have your thoughts and I have mine. No one is right or wrong.

Sorry to break your bubble kids, but if LSU has a losing year this coming football season, he'll be back for the next season, but if that season doesn't play out, then he'll be gone. Sorry, but regardless of what happens, he's guaranteed this coming season and the next. This was explained to me when the TAF called me for my annual contribution.

I haven't called you any names. You are the one that brought up luck. Why are you being defensive?

Would it threaten you to ask why you don't think he is good enough to win the SEC next year?

Again I ask, when LSU loses, is the element of luck not also available to the opponent? Is everything good that heppens to them the result of detailed planning and flawless execution?
You made some assertions, I merely asked you to back them up.

has nothing to do with "lovers", negative views (and positive ones) that have little objectiveness in their foundation will typically get called out. If one says "if Les screws up and keeps Crowton, then I have a hard time seeing LSU better than 2nd or 3rd again next year", some might disagree, but no one will have a problem with it (outside of Uncommon Cents that is). If you say "we might finish second if Les gets a lucky horseshoe shoved up his arse", then you'll be made fun of and such.

Already went that route Fore. Said that awhile back and had the same answers or questions for answers. To some people does not matter what reasoning you give they will always be right and we will always be wrong, regardless.

Some see one play out of 140 plays that happen in a game and shout out "lucky" and that's why you won.
Yes, the Vols made a mistake that helped LSU, bout what bout the 4 T/Os LSU had??? Wasn't those T/Os the major reason Tennessee was even close enough to have the Vols mistake even matter? As I recall, LSU doubled or more than doubled the Vols in rushing yards and in passing yards, but we had 4 t/os to zero for them.
We had more bad luck in that game than good luck, but all some want to see one play.
Anyway, isn't the saying something like:
Luck equates to preparation meeting opportunity.
Also, didn't LSU and the Vols man up on the last play of the game to decide the winner? I mean, the refs didn't just award LSU the TD, right?
So, pretty much your "pure luck" win is bout as bogus as it gets.

I think its more likely Les Miles wins the SEC next year than gets fired after next year.
He is going to coach out his 2 more years contract here and we will remember this time with gratitude.
I guess that rates as an 8.

Only when the next coach comes in and averages 8 wins a year until he's fired after his 3rd season.
