How about RR plays out his remaining years and then you can be the judge of that. Dude has only played maybe half a year.

Julio Jones and AJ Green were much better WR's than Mike Evans.

Patrick Peterson is possibly one of the best college CB's I've seen. PP7 backed Rashard Robinson saying he was going to be something special.

I think Robinson is going to be a stud CB. I think Peterson will be the better of the two.

Also the way you worded it is a little off. It is true he had no summer workout and showed up like that to the game. Robinson didn't do what you are saying vs TCU(Week 1). He did it vs A&M near the end of the season. He had 3 months at LSU before he went out and shut Evans down.

Not now. He has a ways to go before we can say that.

i agree julio is better reciever. But Evans put up way better numbers. Probably due to the offense. So he did shut down a very PRODUCTIVE, Big reciever. Deserves credit still.

They are all awesome. DBU baby

Peterson, Claiborne, Mathieu and Brooks were the best corners collectively at LSU ever. Will be very hard to top, although we have the kids that can do it here now!

That is a crazy statement. While white and RR are going to be a great duo this year,Mo and pp7 were special. Probably the best cb duo LSU will ever see. I just dont see RR and white both being drafted in the top 6 picks of the draft

I like him, but he has a long way to go in his overall game to be a real stud for us. I agree that white is a better all atound corner, but rashard can be a real danger 1 on 1. PP7's overall impact was so important....I'm not sure rashard will ever have to assume that responsibility, but he can be a nice piece in the DBU alumni.

that whole D was amazing. add reid, mingo, montgomery, etc.

Good god if we only had a decent QB for those 2-3 years.

Do you see Robison being a better CB than PP7

At the moment, no. He's played one season, and he may not be better than White. Tre'Davious White doesn't get enough love on this board IMO.

I think people forget just how good of a CB Peterson was since having guys like Mathieu, Claiborne, White, and Robinson.

Alabama with Jones had Heisman RB's. They relied heavily on their run game. To overlook Jones because he didn't put up Mike Evans numbers is laughable.

Some of the kids on our team now, in this past class, and in upcoming classes look to challenge that. Sure seems exciting for the next few years at DB.

Once Toliver gets on campus, I think this secondary could rival them. White, Robinson, Paris, and Toliver w/ Adams and Jefferson at S

thats what i said. Peterson could handle bigger recievers. Had more difficulty with the smaller recievers like flordida had. IMO, Mo was a more versatile CORNER cuz he was quicker laterally and could run in circles with the small recievers. Peterson seperates himself because of his PR ability.

Doesn't have the play-making ability of Mathieu, but players like Mathieu are so rare. But damn I feel like that secondary could cover the entire field Just so much size, range, and speed.

White is more like Claiborne, Robinson more like PP, and KT2 is pretty unique. Brandon Browner-ish.

i really hope once LF is gone that our next great corner wears number 7. Because of peterson, that # looks so damn intimidating lined up across from a receiver. Especially if they are 6'+

I agree. He's such a physical corner. He'll be a nightmare when he gets into the weight room with Moffitt.

This board's memory problems are unbelievable.

PP7 took away half the field. Teams DID NOT throw his way. Alabama in 2010 is really the only time anyone attacked him but for some reason people act like that game was the norm.

It was only four years ago yet people don't remember a thing.

NOT EVEN CLOSE!

PP7 had the skill and physical talent to be a pro out of high school. A once in a decade player like Clowney and Moss for example. I love Rashard but he's no and I doubt will ever be close to PP7.

he is better than White imo

never saw him having to grab a receiver's jersey to hold on to him, because he is one of the fastest guys on the team

RR will be an all-star

i do think he is (will be) on par with PP7
