What I hope this really means is that Coach Cameron, along with running the O, makes the personnel choices, especially QB. There's nothing written in stone Zach is the guy and if Cam thinks another guy gives us a better chance, too bad for Zach.

Not at this point. But if Zach isn't panning out, say in the 1st half of TCU game, I hope someone is prepared enough to come in and give it their best shot and maybe do better.

Please tigerlee he's not JJ . He's actually very intelligent and very poised. I predict he will end up one of LSU's best qb's

The best thing that could possibly happen to Rivers or Rettig is to get beat out by Jennings next year.
They would then automatically become the greatest QB in LSU history. Theres no fun in being QB1 at LSU, but QB2 means youre an allstar

I don't care who the hell starts at QB as long as they give us the best chance to win! Who gives a shite how long they've been in the system, look at Johnny Manziel his first year.

You're out of your damn mind. You want a true freshman to come in and start the second half against one of the best defenses in the nation? He will play the RP role next year. No way he starts.

He will be a vital role in the O. He's actually accurate so he won't automatically run the option every time he comes in the game.

I noticed that Rivers had less than half the passes of either Freshman QB. Unfortunately, Rivers probably needs to see the writing on the wall and move on sooner than later. He had the opportunity to compete, it simply didn't work out for him.
