Not necessarily in order of best team but in order of most difficult game. In order of difficulty based on if LSU played them tomorrow (but both teams with next year's expected roster and coaches). Home or away, revenge factor from this season, LSU history against opponent, new coaches and players considered.

1 @ Alabama - epic battle
2 Oregon at Arlington - they get another try at the SEC

3 @ Miss State - do they finally break the streak?
4 Arkansas - LSU owes them one

5 @ Tennessee - revenge for them?
6 Florida - Muschamp returns
7 Auburn (without CN) - LSU will be ready
8 @ West Virginia - revenge for them part deux?

9 @ Ole Miss - They will make it tougher than it should be
10 Kentucky - Not in TS

11 Northwestern Demons - can they keep it close like McNeese?
12 Western Kentucky - snoozer

Note 3 and 4, and 5 through 8 are very close to pick.

I know that Florida was down this year, but there is a lot of talent there. I wouldn't be the any less than #3.

Tenn could be as low as 8, but I just think the game will be tough. LSU historicaly doesn't play well in Knoxville for some reason.

1.Alabama -as usual.
2. Oregon -we pick off alot of passes and match tempo for most of the game.
3. Arkansas -only win because we're playing in BR. Knile will run all over our arse if we don't contain him from the start.
4. Mississippi State -Have more chance of losing against them than we ever have in ten years. And we
play there.
5. Florida -grooming in new QB and game is in Death Valley.
6. Tennessee -will be a much closer game than expected
7. West Virginia -WV won't be able to keep up but will make it interesting for awhile.
8. Ole Miss -Defense plays lights out.
9. Auburn -Down year for Auburn without Newton.
10. Kentucky -Snoozer
11. Northwestern -Snoozer
12. Western Kentucky -Snoozer.

We play Tennessee IN Knoxville and they still have a chip on their shoulder. But they have worse game management than we do.

I'm surprised of people ranking Ole Miss so low...

Last 5 meetings LSU is 3-2 vs Ole Miss and the average score is 28.6 to 27.2 in favor of LSU.

It's not that Ole Miss is low, they're just lower than the rest. The schedule is very tough. There are 9 competitive games and LSU will need good fortune like this year when they were 6-2 in close games to win most of the 9.

I wouldn't rank Tennessee or Auburn over them that much is for sure. Florida/Oregon/Arkansas/Alabama yes as those teams have equal or close to equal talent as LSU. Ole Miss always brings their A game when it comes to playing vs LSU.
