how close JJ was to being sacked before his long run at the end of the UGA game.

Don't remember ever hearing this discussed before but if he gets sacked there it game over.

How/if at all would losing to UGA (& LSU with back to back 5 loss seasons) alter your opinion of JJ?

you say it as if it was the only game we won that we could have easily lost

Do you realize if the O-Line was able to hold up, Charles Scott doesn't go down and JJ doesn't get killed we beat Bama? We just started rolling when JJ and Scott got hurt. What would your opinion of JJ be then?

We can do this shite all day.

Even with 5 losses, things would have been just fine and there would not be anything to worry about. It would all be part of a natural progression leading to LSU's rise to the top again and there would be no reason to criticize the team and demand more from the coaching staff.

How about if the ref puts the right 3 seconds back on the clock after the first down against Ole Miss, we spike the ball, and kick a field goal to win the game --- record stays 10 and 4.

Losing that UGA game would have hurt Miles much more imo. We had every chance possible to dominate them and put them away in the first half and we failed completley.

so jj is almost sacked and made a great play and it is still his fault when we lose, but not when we win?

exactly the season is over and all these what ifs are bs. Get behind this team we have a long road ahead of us before the season starts.

What about 2 losses?...could have just as easily gone that way.

Well personally my opinion of JJ would not have changed at all. He is just not a qb imo.

The thing about that play is that he had no clue how close that guy was and just happened to be lucky.

I remember a similar play later in the year (i think ole miss maybe where he didnt get lucky and the sack cost us the game)...

Just hope I am really wrong about the guy and he is awesome this year...or else its gonna be another long one.

Unless Shep become the man at QB somehow

This won't happen, I mean why would we put the number 1 dual threat QB recruit at QB?

people also forget the catch RR made that JJ threw 5 yrds behind around midfiled to continue drive.

ref calls offense for holding on the one and only TD Florida scores.

The LSU staff throw the flag on the fumble that ensued and was wrongly granted to Florida.
Replay shows the point of the ball touching dirt while possession was bobbled, and the ball goes to LSU, who recovered. No last field goal for Florida. The score is 3 to 3 , LSU has the ball for the last drive, and its anyone's game.

With a win vs the Gators and the Ole Miss field goal, you get to 11-1 in regular season and LSU gets the Sugar bowl spot and artificial turf. LSU finishes with 12 wins and in the top 5.

I know everyone wants him to get a shot at QB, but has anyone ever seen him throw? Watching his HS highlights and UA game I can't beleive anyone thought he would be viable at QB. He just heaves the ball up and has no accuracy or touch or zip. If people hate JJ, they would run RS out of town unless he has greatly improved over the past year. He's Pat White with less accuracy. That's right, less accuracy.

As opposed to JJ being the next coming of elway...with his elongated throwing motion and inability to throw accurately to any moving targets...

Hmmm, maybe i have to watch again but i thought Sheps throwing highlights were pretty good actually...not terrible at least.

And in the AA game he had a pretty nice 90 yard td pass if i remember correctly.

Do you realize how close both Minn. and Ind. came to beating the Saints?

So what?
