the guy is a great coach. he's done a great job since he's been there. if you disagree, then look at the records he's posted since becoming the coach at lsu.

well, i don't mean it in a sarcastic way so please don't take it that way. the guy has done an excellent job at the helm. honestly, the lsu game is always exciting, but it's the only game that ever makes my stomach get that turning inside out feeling because it's always a battle. i have TONS of respect for coach miles and lsu.

The LSU football fans are feeling bad because one of the most talented LSU teams was embarrassed by a foolish head coaches obsession, to keep playing the wrong QB. At the expense of the overall LSU team.

+1
Miles did not give a damn about LSU.
His viewpoint trumped all.
...very shortsighted.
...it was a direct insult to the fans

I am old enough that I will tell you that the day will come when Miles will need fan support again from a personal level, he may not have it.

the LSU team will always have that support.

I remember the arrogance of Dinardo, everyone thought he'd be here forever.

How can anyone say anything less than Miles is incompetent in pressure situations on game days? He is not a good gameday coach. Plain and simple. For all the things Miles does well, being a gameday coach isn't one of them.

He's lost 3 games the last 2 years. Just went 13-0 in the SEC, won his 3rd West title, 2nd SEC championship and 2nd NC game appearance. And did it with two mediocre QBs.

but you're right....he's not a good coach.

People need to quit judging les miles as a whole based on one game.

His handling/infatuation of the worst qb this school has ever seen and I'll-preparedness of the nccg is the appropriate areas to direct anger.
Both are legit concerns.

However, if he hamstrings Mett next year with his 40's style 3 yds and a cloud of dust offensive philosophy, then perhaps it IS time to start thinking about replacing him. For the life of me, I can't understand how he got a 7-year extension at the end of last season.

And in 2 of those losses Lee never saw the field. Hmmmmmmm. And in the 3rd loss, Lee smashed his throwing hand against a defenders helmet.

Thanks for convincing me that Miles is more of an idiot that I was thinking

open your eyes, it is about the ONE game....no one is criticizing his overall record

one instance can define who you are...

don't think so ?
live your entire life in a lawful manner, commit ONE crime,
you are know a criminal...forever.

and before you say it...
fairness has nothing to do with it.

Miles has made it worse.
..he could have disarmed all simply by saying
"in hind sight, I should have tried it"
..the story would have gone away.
His stubbornness is his downfall.

No it doesn't, LSU still gets those trophies. Great!

But in the end, losing to Alabama in the Nat. Title game, to Nick Saban, DOES, erase what LSU did this season.

LSU had EVERYTHING to lose this year...BAMA had...NOTHING!
