Downs got washed out probably half of the snaps he was on the field for, sometimes by one man.

we don't lack for mouth punchers. pass rushing and pass protecting has me a little concerned though. should be ok though.

did he even make a tackle? He got dominated for 50% and didn't do anything on the other 50%. That more clear?

The DTs were pretty much blah as a group for the whole game. Freak has the biggest upside and we need him to step up and dominate. Downs actually got into the feet of the QB once or twice, but didn't do anything else. Ego made a few tackles 5 yards down the field.

Oh and whether admitted or not, Alabama's dominating performance over Meeechegan has many believing LSU performance was a bit underwhelming.

I think it had more to do with who LSU played than who Bama played. This week will be more of a barometer than last.

3 or 4 tackles sir cant remember off of the top of my head but thats not too shabby considering they rotated series

doubt it
and since you are the master of quick off the ball, I'm sure you noticed that Sonic Sam lines up a full 2 yards off the ball half the time and is a second late off the snap.

downs looked like a player early in his freshman year before the 1,079 injuries. hoping freak gets more snaps.

Downs was pretty bad, I alluded to it in another thread. Freak made plays in every quarter. Hell even ego made a play or two.

dont get me wrong, downs is not a starter imo i was just saying his first move is good and thats it.
