WTF?

If it was a penalty the first time, which I disagreed with, why wasn't it a penalty the second time?

Refs made themselves look ignorant unless I am missing something

Probably already been addressed but if so I missed it.

The refs were retarded. They missed multiple block in the backs and obvious holding calls all night long.

Apparently the LB yelled move on the first penalty. They never said that was the case on the second one

Heaven forbid the defense trying to confuse the offense. Estrogenous voters making rules.

Agreed. Is the quarterback no longer allowed to give a hard clap or hard count? Short of verbally mimicking the quarterbacks count or clapping, the D line should be able move at their discretion. Including in coordination

Kelly chewed on the refs for 10 fricking minutes about that shitty call. They didn’t call it a second time but the damage was done. They ended up scoring on that drive.

I figured the refs got a talking to from supervisors at half. The intent of the rule is to stop fake moves and signals intended solely to draw the offense off. What LSU did was shift the DL which was a strategy call which was signaled by the MLB who is the defensive play caller and has a right to do that. The game was loud and the call was loud.

If the refs wanted to make a stand on that point then they were improperly limiting the defenses presnap alignment adjustments
