Question on talent use

Melvin Jones was recruited as MLB, is now 3rd string fullback and is an exceptional athlete. Brazil ran fastest 60 meters in high school last year and was recruited as DB but has been in on offense only. Point is, in past most teams were talent laden on offense. The LSU's of the world beat the Ohio states and Oregon's of the world mainly cuz D talent was par to opponent's O are better. Maybe too late this year but may consider for future.

So I'm assuming what you meant is that Brazil and Jones should get more playing time??? If being the fastest high school player in the country meant you were automatically an elite defensive back than I am sure he would be playing. And if being 6'3" 245 automatically meant you were the best MLB on our team than I'm sure Melvin Jones would be playing as well.

I would have liked to see Jones at linebacker along with Brazil at CB and let Beckwith play outside rushing the QB. I also know that I completely trust The Chief and hope we can solve some of our isuues before Nov 9th.
