Overseas and was only able to catch highlights and follow ScoreBoard/Rant comments. I've gotten a good idea of individual player performances and an impression of Aranda's performance. Haven't seen much about Coach O. Did you walk away from the game having any particular impression of Coach O's performance (e.g. ability to make mid-game changes, etc.)?

He got out of the way when he needed to. He wanted to go heavy set for the last four minutes and Slinger told him, "Let's stay aggressive." He listened. Didn't mishandle any timeouts. No substitution infractions. Chewed Aranda's arse.

Maybe the only thing he could've done better was get our players on IV drips at half-time. The heat really got to our defense. But who new Texas was gonna fight their way to a 19 play scoring drive.

Coach O’s performance was great. Clock management was great, timeouts were used wisely and he allowed his coordinators the ability to continue to keep their identity throughout the whole game. This was vastly different from years past where we handcuffed OC’s when we would get the lead.

Called a great game. More importantly Brady and Ensminger called a fantastic game, they saw every weakness and exploited it.

I’ve always liked O. Being a Texan Tiger, this game meant a lot. And their are a lot of us here.

I would give O’s performance tonight as a 5 out of 5 because I felt like he let the people he hired do their jobs. And I ain’t mad at what I saw.

The lack of stupid penalties was oh-so refreshing. I’ll give that to Coach O

When you don't hear anything about him, he did the best thing he could do - stay out of the way. He's kind of like Switzer when he was with the Cowboys.

The 2 point conversion on the last score was a brilliant call. Putting LSU ahead by 2 touchdowns had to be demoralizing for Texas.

He was doing what a great head coach should be doing in a close hard fought game...motivate and get every last ounce of strength out of the players. In his press conference after game he realized we need to be in better shape and better hydrated.

I like that when our offense got off to a slow start and Texas had us backed up on our goal line multiple times early, we kept being aggressive offensively. Everyone predicted that coach O would shut it down and play field position but he said go get it boys.
