We all make jokes about posters like Ree and Clownboy being on the AD payroll, but honestly if anyone is it’s Gray.

He has to be the only poster on the site that defended Miles as much as he goes after anyone that criticizes O.

Most of the CheeriOs are the guys that shouted for years that a narcoleptic donkey could win 10 games a year at LSU and are just so happy Miles is gone they are just basking in his absence no matter what the team does.

Now those dudes that blasted Miles any time he didn’t win 10 or beat Bama are like, “Look at the schedule, we’re young, Troy was really good, 8-4 would be pretty damn good!!!”

But I just can’t see anyone that truly respected the job Miles did to defend O as hard as this guy does.

O getting this job was the personification of the anyone can win here frame of mind because he literally was the last person on any sort of wish list for this job. Hell, he wasn’t even on Syracuse’s list at all.

The only way those two trains of thought can coexist in the same mind at this point is if he was literally on the payroll under both regimes and is just spinning for the department.

So why exactly did we fire Les then?

8-4 against this schedule would be pretty good. 9-3 would be above average, and 10-2 would be great.

With the amount of talent LSU has year in and year out. Anything under 10 wins every regular season is not a good season. Ten wins should be the average. Will there be some 9-3 seasons here and there? Of course. But there should also be 11-1 and 12-0 seasons in there too.

Just for o through, right?

I've been reading the rant since 2007 and from 2007 to 2015, records of 8-4, 9-3 and 10-2 were considered underachieving. It didn't matter what the schedule looked like.

Tough schedule or easy schedule, it didn't fricking matter. Until now.

Next season I would predict something like 8-4, maybe 9-3 or 10-2 if we get some breaks and depending on QB play

So no improvement over Miles.
