I congratulate alabama on a great game wish them well. However, I think the loyal sec fans and most importantly the sec football players deserve better than the sec referees and while there will be penalties missed, but when they are looking at the play and miss it, and especially when replay shows it clearly and it is still missed! This has been going on in the sec far too long and is unacceptable. The college presidents should demand mor from Slive and his director of officials.I think we need a housecleaning and a relocation of the sec office to a neutral site.

+1000 ... finally a good post, too many people have bought into the "silver tongue" devil from Tuskerloserville ... and I am serious. I was once in the same position and thought like many of you; but age (experience) and wisdom go a very long way in a person's true perception of others. I personally think that the hoodwinking fools wearing the Zebra uniforms office that is located in Burninham and as long as it is there, with an old out dated Commissioner like Slimy Slieve it won't much difference how we recruit. IMO, some B.S. is really going on with the big money boys there in poor little heart of the State that brought us the Great Red Ant Epidemic in which our lands suffer.
On recruits, they don't win games; players and good coaching put you in the best position to win games. Look at the pros, too many unknown names (not 5 & 4 star recruits) are performing at top levels and many of those players have All Pro potential. Just look at the Saints roster?
:geauxtigers:
and Ida might stir those Red Ants up in BummerScope's area soon...I don't wish anything bad on anyone, but I believe that Mother Nature takes no prisoners.

I don;t think the teams played even. Bama would have won by at least 2 TDs, probably 3, if you had a decent QB.

I'm amazed at how fast NIck turned that program around.
It took him two seasons to get LSU into & win the SECCG. What made you think he wouldn't do it at Alabama? The man knows how to put together a winning program.
LSU fans knew it was coming.

We'll lose at least 2 games, we always lose at least 2 games.

Good post Scoop and my congrats. Damn shame the refs had to tarnish ( in some if our opinions) a classic for the ages. Ya'll played a hell of a game. The game could have gone either way in the last two years. A play here or there.... Thats how the classic matchups typically play out. LSU should be fine next year. Very excited about it. Toughest conference in the nation. Always gonna be rough to be a consistent winner IMO.
