Question about Nebraska game in 1976, did we get robbed, any film?

Was talking to guy in line at movies last night and he was at NEB/LSU in 1976 (and USC in 1979) and claimed that 1976 tie game we had two fgs that were clealry good that were called no good-his point was we got ripped off in this game as bad or worse than 1979 USC game. Is there any film of this game or was anyone else there? Thanks

it was not USC, it was Nebraska

I went to the 1975 and 1976 games against Nebraska. Both were hard played games. Nebraska won by 3 in Lincoln and game finished 6-6 tie the next year in Baton Rouge.
The 1976 game was not marred by questionable FG calls, but for an incident after the game.

LSU kicked 2 FGs in that 6-6 tie and Nebraska missed an extra pt after a TD. It was very loud.

Was there, Rusty Dominque blocked potential winning FG for Neb. and was arrested after at Fap's I think for a stabbing incident. Heard he is now a minister or something? Was a great game with old fashion hard hitting under the lights with no TV I believe!

Indeed, Rusty Domingue turned his life around and is indeed a pastor at this time. I dont know if he has his own church or is an evangelist but he did have an excellent night that night against Nebraska. About the USC game which i was at that game also. I believe it was a phantom call against Benjy Thibodaux , I think, either a phantom roughing the passer or Face Mask. Looked at the game film replay once that someone had posted on YouTube and a very questionable call. Could have went either way imo.

It was #1 USC at LSU. We got robbed by a bad call on a 15 yard penalty at the end of the game.

I literally had NO idea that Vince Ferragamo was the Nebraska QB in that game...

I was at the Neb game. Was behind the goal post in the students' section for one of the field goal attempts, which missed by about a foot. I don't remember feeling robbed. Domingue blocked the PAT attempt after Nebraska's TD.
In the USC game, the game-winning drive was extended by a PF face mask during I believe a QB sack. It was very hard to tell whether the LSU player grabbed the face mask at all, but no doubt it was at worst a five-yard face mask. I wasn't there - just saw film after the game.
Neither of these games was televised as I recall.
