Below is a comparison of each QB’s first start. The stats in red are where the QB leads in that stat. It appears some seem to not place the value on the QB’s first start performance equally. There is an argument about quality of competition in rating performance, which is why I included the opposing team defensive stats for each QB. Also other factors to consider include supporting cast, performance of surrounding players, etc.,

This is pointless lol.

"there is an argument about quality of competition"....yea no duh, dude.

Comparing that shite like its 1:1 is ridiculous.

Also go read all the OPs previous posts to get a little confirmation on whats happening in that OP.

Were you the same guy going on and on and racism this, racism that, in the thread that had to be deleted yesterday?

I think that was you.

You have a clear agenda.

So now you have a problem with stats, huh? Oh yeah, you guys don't believe in science. And I don't have to go read your previous posts to figure you out. Your dismissing stats as irrelevant says it all.

It's only worthless because you don't like the comparison. Information is never worthless even if you don't like what it is. I guess it is worthless to those who refuse to acknowledge it.

I fully expected the responses so far. I am well aware of the audience I am dealing with. And I knew these stats would piss them off. And I knew that they would become belligerent in their responses. However, I will continue providing a view that supports ALL LSU players. And seeks a fair comparison of all.

Yes I probably am that guy. And I do have an agenda. And it is anti-racism. And that agenda only angers racists. So be it. And I have support for ALL of the LSU players, white or black.

bullshite. From your post, you are the biggest racist on this board. Unless of course, you are one of those people that think if you are racist against white people it's not really racism.

Well intelligent individuals, without an agenda, can account for different teams by comparing how a player performs against that team compared to how others performed against that team. Did the player perform above or below the norm versus other players against that team. That is a standard way of comparing play against teams with different strengths.

I'm not your brotha and you can't keep me down, even if you tried.

So your own subjective opinion right?

The point was a comparison of the first start for each QB, which seems to have stirred up a lot of folks for some reason.

I don’t remember exactly how many drops we had in the FLA game. But a few drops were balls that were spot on and had no legit reason to be incompletions. I’m sure some would use the fog as an excuse, but as shown on tv, the fog wasn’t very dense down there on the field, and if I remember right Max even kept the balls low for that reason when he could.
Anyways, not bashing the receivers or running backs but take those few really bad drops away and Johnson’s stats tell a better story of his actual performance which I thought was stellar given the circumstances.
He missed some better reads, and made other freshman mistakes but he played a dam good game and kept his “head on the task at hand”.
It was also nice to see his interaction with the team in some of those locker room videos from after the game. He seems to be a real team player and seems to have some legit leadership attributes.
Futures bright.

Problem solved then. No one needs to fight against any perceived injustices anymore since you just confirmed they have no negative impact and don't affect anyone. Good. Glad we agree.
