So if we are up on an opponent throughout the season, who gets the 2nd team reps? Are we going to keep Brennan in and let him get reps and improve in real game no pressure situations or do we burn a redshirt for one of the freshman? I guess you could play both and still keep their redshirts since the rule allows for some playing time now.
Is there any situation that leads to Brennan, TJ, Max, and Nuss all graduating/getting drafted/ starting for LSU other than injury?
My answer:
If Brennan plays lights out this year he gets drafted. One of the freshman starts next year the other one will have red shirted this year. Next year player starts 2 years and gets drafted. The redshirted freshman starts and gets drafted leaving Nuss to start and the QBs following him to do the same eventually.
Would you be ok with QBs sticking around and only playing one season and getting drafted like some other schools have?

No backup will play more than 4 games unless shite hits the fan. Gotta keep that redshirt.

Yes. If they play good enough to get drafted. It means we win a lot of games. Hell give me one year out of the three best we got then give me a Manning on the bayou. These are just hopes but if we can make the offense as simplistic as we did last year for Joe then why not dream a bit.

I know most had written him off but Peter Parrish is still on the updated LSU roster as well. Would be nice if he can stick and atleast gives you another QB on the roster that has a year in the program and in case of injury gives you depth.

Between the 2 freshman we have 8 mop up games without burning a red shirt. If we have 8 mop up opportunities I won’t give a shite about who is taking a red shirt.

Correct. But make no mistake, unless something changes in fall camp, Max is qb#2. I’ve been downvoted to belivon for stating that, but that come directly from a staff member.

So Tj get mop up on the teams that don’t matter minus 1 so Max gets some real game time experience. Max gets mop up on SEC play.
