He had the second highest comp.% in the SEC last year. Care to take a guess what Lee's was in '08

Lee had half the number interceptions as Jefferson has sacks. Let that sink in for second.

He's pretty good about this when he rolls out, imo.

Ill go out on a limb here and say maybe it was b/c..... HE DIDNT KNOW WHERE TO GO WITH THE frickING FOOTBALL

wonder why he looked so bad last month then?
just curious... I know it was JUST A S.G,... but still, he had same opp to look great as he did to look like shite.

Yeah, for the life of me I don't understand why the pocket wasn't moved a ton last year.

He was 10x the QB outside of the pocket, but we rarely did any of it, particularly against Florida.

His two most experienced WRs in that game were a true sophomore with 11 catches and a player with a cast on his hand and he was throwing against what is considered an elite secondary. By the season's end, it wouldn't be outlandish to predict them to be tops in the SEC and highly ranked nationally.

Are you seriously saying a sack and an interception are equally bad?

I'll go out on a limb and say it was the o-line considering he had a high competion % and passer rating.

Thank you for all that break down of statistics
of our offense/defense of 07 vs. 09.......
I would hope that some of our coaches have broken it down like you have, and therefore
can begin to fix it.

Great job.

if drops were the concern Id agree with your post 100%....but on a scale of 1-10 (1 being most important)drops were a 9.
Face it... he gave us little to be excited about going into 2010 with him under center again.

going from worst to first huh?? ... I suppose we just have different defenitions of what outlandish means.

You went to a lot of trouble, when you could have just said "The running game was less effective because of 8 in the box, as a direct result off JJ not getting rid of or connecting on the deep ball."

No defense respects his deep ball, so expect to see more of the same this yr.

I'm confused.

Where did this perception that JJ only attempts short throws come from?

His YPA is higher than Flynn and Lee. Do you know what YPA is?

when you can not extend a defense with the ability to throw the ball down the field and you are in 2 and 3rd and longs much of the time... YES it is equally as bad.

So instead of a sack, where you still have a chance to get the first down or at the least punt, you'd rather just go ahead and give them the ball. alrighty.
