Opponents will figure out Chambliss by next year. Simmons beat him out as starter AND he is an outstanding pitcher.

Georgia and OU had 4 full games of tape on him as a starter before they played him. He accounted for 670+ yards and 4 TDs against them. And both games were on the road. The guy is just good. He has the skill set that can win you a national championship with the right talent around him. I mean, Ole Miss just went 11-1 with their "backup" QB. Enough said.

I do like the other guys mentioned in here too though.

Drew Mestemaker! Yes, multiple years left to play.

So lane train can’t coach MVB up??

He can run
He can throw

I'm sure Lane could help MVB a lot with coaching and play calling, but MVB's accuracy needs a lot of improvement and he needs better decision-making. Sliding in front of the first down marker or running out of bounds with yards to gain is not giving it your all.

We should have better options than MVB for starter next year with Lane.

Trust me. I'd take Simmons in a heartbeat. He is not coming. Might not even have eligibility left. Simmons is real.

He has no real back up. I’d imagine he was told not to take risks with his body.
