To prepare for draft? What the hell will he be doing other than watching the game on TV.

What's the point of these games anymore? Just cancel them.

It’s almost like this is exactly what was predicted with the CFP started and will only get worse with expansion.

Unless his name is Myles Brennan, probably not getting injured

JD should declare now and not play. It’s only fair.

Hopefully they don’t bring in that freshman qb from aTm.

According to this story, he's skipping because of the death of his brother - which I found strange because his brother died a few days before the Big 10 Championship game. So, he can play in that game just a few days removed but can't play a month later? I thought 'BS' right away.

Stupid. Even with Drew Brees coming to assist. He’d have a giant stage.

He’s played all season with an undisclosed rib injury. That’s part of why he’s shutting it down.

Had an average year because of it. Certain games he just wasn’t right. His stats last year were incredible and took a big step back this year vs what was actually a slightly worse schedule. As a Purdue fan, I’m fine with him skipping the game.

Our backup QBs are terrible, Brian Brohm and a whole bunch of coaches who no longer want to be there are stuck in town coaching this game. I think this will be a 63-7 type disaster for us with basically our top 6 players missing.

Of course, I say that and we could be 100% fine. We were down 7 starters last year including 2 all Americans and beat Tennessee.

This game can really change how this season will be viewed.

10-4 - SEC West Champs Nice rebuild season, at times struggled but overall solid first year under BK

9-5 - Ahhhhh, a five loss season.... Is BK a good fit???
