So hypothetically, Florida beats Alabama, increasing our chances of getting to the SECCG. We beat Bama, but lose to Arkansas. Who would get the nod for the SECCG from the SEC West? Just curious.

LSU cause Ark lost to Bama, and we beat Bama. Doesn't matter if Ark beats us as long as we beat everyone else on our SEC schedule.

anytime an SEC East team plays against an SEC West team, and that SEC West team isn't the LSU Tigers, you root for the SEC East team.

its in the bible.

This. It would help LSU and we need all the help we can get this year.

I understand SEC pride and wanting an SEC team to be No. 1. But the SEC doesn't need a No. 1 team to get respect. The SEC already has respect. We need to concentrate on things that help LSU.

UF, easy. A Bama loss helps much more than a Bama win.

Of course you pull for Florida. They are in the East.

Geaux Florida! If Alabama was playing Osama bin Laden, I would pull for Osama.

However I would be wearing a T-Shirt that the US Marines wear that says:

"It`s God`s job to forgive Bin Laden. It`s our job to arrange the meeting"

But we would have a loss to Ark...it's this never-ending circular logic scenario that I don't understand.

If we win out except for that game and Ark does too, they go. It would be 2 one loss teams head to head and we lost to them. Ark would have to drop another game somewhere.

we need SEC West teams to lose (other than LSU).
Always pick SEC East over SEC West (other than LSU).

I don't do the whole "SEC Pride" bullshite.
I have LSU Pride.

I don't get all warm and fuzzy inside if Alabama or Florida win National Championships. Why should we care if Alabama loses and isn't #1 in the polls anymore?

LSU is undefeated. How about lets focus on LSU being #1 in the polls. F all that other noise.

I have Florida even though I would like to have an undefeated #1 team to come in TS and get spanked, I just can't find myself to pull for the gumps.

Mostly I am pulling for a really hard hitting close game that really beats up Florida for next week. I want them to be worn out when we play them next week.

I agree with you but why are you responding to me.

Fact is, a Bama SEC loss helps us whereas a Florida one does not. So root for Florida.

Ok, I realize how crazy this hypothetical is and maybe I'm not conveying my question well. I understand what you just said, and that makes sense, but Bama would also have 1 loss. So there would be three 1 loss teams in the SEC West, all of which one has beaten the other. What would be the tie-breaker?
