Before you noobs down vote let’s say we win. Arky beat UCLA. Thursday we either pitch Anderson on short rest or go all bullpen against a fresh pissed off Root. We save Anderson game two which would be the smart move and we win. That leaves Anderson out for the finals I.e skeenes 2023. We just don’t have the pitching staff. Period. This killed us. Worse than a loss.

Idiot. We had two guys pitch the games of their lives in that series and both promptly returned to what they were before in 2024.

We have more pitching talent in this year’s pen. It’s just young/inexperienced and inconsistent. But look at the pure stuff that Shores, Noot, Rizy and Mayers have. Cowan has struggled lately, but he has postseason and SEC experience. Cooper Williams has really come on.

I know it’s hard to depend on these guys, but the ones who bailed us out in 23 were just as unreliable, and in Ack’s case, a lot less talented. I’ll love and respect him to death for that gem he pitched vs UT, but are you fricking serious comparing him to someone like Shores? Really?
