Id just like to give a Tiny bit of Props to the Chief, of course he's nowhere near being the coach Les is, he's doing an admirable job. Congrats to Coach Chavis for a job well done

Chavis And Miles have done a masterful job of recruiting and coaching up our defense. Outstanding in both departments!

The Chief's defense improved from his first season, and hiring Chavis was probably the best move Miles has made at LSU. Amazing improvement from the two headed coordinator before him.

As far as an actual "coach," JC is way better than Miles will ever be. Did I somehow not see Miles' reputation for having top notch offenses?

Miles has proven to be a good head coach, something that JC obviously has no interest in because he has to have had plenty of opportunities by now. A head coach is very dependent on the COACHES they hire to COACH for them. Miles is a great LSU CEO - which is his job as a head coach - but using a vague term like "coach" is far off base.

Miles is HC and Cheif is DC. they each are great at their respective4 positions. Not sure of anyone in the country who can confidently say they have outperformed either one this year or ove the long haul. Not sure which is better. Both are in the discussion for best at their positions which is all you can ask for.

JC and LM are complimentary, not competition. No need to introduce tension here.

IMO, JC's approach fits well with how Les likes to approach games.

If I had my way every one who ever typed the phrase "3rd and Chavis" would be banned from posting.

That's about right, there's no need to make this an argument about the two when it should be about what a good job they are doing this year. Props to them both!
