Year in and year out they play the toughest OOC schedule around and play anyone, anywhere, anytime. While other teams are lining up d1aa schools and falling off the map every other year, USC is not.

Can Southern Cal afford to when it must play Stanford, UCLA, and the Washington schools every year? That lineup isn't a whole lot better from a standard OOC lineup -- the Washington schools are about like scheduling a C-USA, Sun Belt, or relatively really good I-AA school like Appalachian State or [this year] James Madison and UCLA/Stanford aren't too much better off most of the time.

Utah and BSU are automatically below the other 6. IMO, it's:

1. USC
2. LSU
3. UF
4. OSU
5. Oklahoma
6. Texas

Wasn't it USC that refused to come play in TS? or was this just a rumor?

UF is number 1. We are up there with USC, OU, and Ohio State in my humble opinion. But you have to give the 1st spot to Florida.

Program of the Decade

The sports section of MSNBC.com has an article on this very thing. Problem is, they still have MiamiU listed due to their short success at the beginning of the decade. LSU & UF are listed, along with OU, Texass, tOSU, and, of course, Petey's team.

Listen lsutothetop, let me know when Florida leaves the state for an OCC game. They left the state 18 years ago and were blown off the face of the earth by Syracuse so I can understand the trepidation in such a risky endeavor.

As for USC being afraid to play in TS, this decade they have opened at:

Penn St (east coast)
@ Va Tech (no return date
@ Hawaii
@ Arky
@ Auburn
@ Virginia

Probably be hard pressed to find another powerhouse program that has done anything close to that this decade.
