LSU is experiencing the lull before the storm. Bama has to replace 8 starters on defense next year, and our offense will be a lot improved.

With a redshirt Freshman QB we battled Bama to OT in 2008 and we were cheated the whole game this year by the SEC refs.

The bad call on Peterson was only the tip of the iceburg concerning the the bias calls to protect Bama's chances for a BCS payday for the SEC.

Georgia for sure.

Look how many national championships they have since 1980.

I live here in Georgia and they are delusional. They are the second best team in the state.
They have won next to nothing for 30 years.
Despite the complaining about LSU losing to rivals, check Georgia's record against Florida.

The Georgia fans live in the past. The only reason anyone thinks they are an elite program is because they say it so much.

UGA...because if Meyer leaves, Richt's job is safe. UF will be an easier win and the SECCG is easier to get to. LSU on the other hand has to depend on Miles out coaching Saban to get there.

Richt or no Richt - UGA usually finds a way to shoot itself in the foot before it can reach the SECCG. They've only been 3 times in the 18 year history of the game. Granted, all three of those times has been during Richt's tenure... but next year will mark the 5th straight year that UGA has fallen short(and if you think that they are somehow going to make it in 2010... ).

Wow UGA fan is delisional. LSU has won two NC's in the last decade and UGA couldn't sniff one with the best UGA team in decades last year. We may win 10 games in a "down" year and are playing in a Jan. 1 bowl game. We'll have another top 5/10 recruiting class. Our facilities are unrivaled. Again, what was the question??

LSU IS A WEAK 9-3 TEAM. THERE I SAID IT. WHO did we beat that was worth a frick this year - or even last for that matter. GO play schedules like we used to play in the 80's and this team would be 7-5 MAYBE. go look at the "88 schedule as an example.

What the hell does this have to do with the thread? Just another negatiger.

Well sh*t... That's one heck of an argument you've so eloquently presented there, Gump. Thanks in large part to your preponderance of evidence, I'm thoroughly convinced - Georgia's program is in MUCH better shape.

miles and saban have faced each other three times. SABAN DID NOT OUTCOACH MILES IN ANY OF THOSE GAMES. i saw every damn minute of every game and anyone that says miles was outcoached is biased as hell. by the way, miles did not outcoach saban either. all three games were heavyweight fights that were determined by the breaks of the game, whether it be the refs calls, untimely fumbles, etc. great game prep, coaching and playing in all three games. either team could have won them all or lost them all.

Sounds to me like you need to be in Vegas betting the house on some LSU games then. Because according to you Miles is gonna be cracking that whip and beating Nicky from now on. If it's not coaching that wins games, then what is it?

It's simple. LSU is in better all around shape, because we're not playing in the Independence Bowl tonight.

GA will struggle to make it to 7 wins next year. They are in MUCH worse shape than LSU.

Agree, as bad as Les Miles is, Mark Richt is worse. Compound that with the fact that their coordinators are worse than ours, and they have to start all over again next year with a new young QB, and they are in for a long year next year.

I live in GA and even their own fans say that UGA is doing bad this year. They dont have any defense coaches, their best linebacker Rennie Curran is leaving along with their starting quarterback Joe Cox. LSU seems to be doing fine provided that Les Miles doesnt do anything funny.

This is a no-brainer. Is this a serious question? UGA is much worse shape.

When was the last time UGA was in serious contention for a NC?
