Not all of us are defending the profanity. For the most part, it's the graduates/adults vs. the students.
There is no defense for the use of profanity like what I've seen coming out of the SS.

The fact that the majority of the cursers would not speak that way in front of THEIR parents, shows me that it is just a lack of respect for others.
When they get through with a few years of lets play grown up, and actually have a family of their own, they hopefully will shield their children from dumbasses.
Just seems one could look around their surroundings and choose to respect others, maybe I am asking too much.

Or maybe realize you're at a football game. If you're so worried about the profanity these kids may hear, then maybe you should also not subject them to the violence that is football.
There's nothing wrong with football. It's a phenomenal sport, the best ever created. There's something wrong with the mouth breathers who aren't mature enough to put a bridle on their own mouth when in the presence of kids. It's about having good sense and not letting the alcohol rule your behavior.

Well there's the solution. Shield your kids by not bringing them to an environment you know will be obnoxious and vulgar.
I feel like I have to put this next part in caps ... I AM NOT DEFENDING THE CURSING... again for emphasis... I AM NOT DEFENDING THE CURSING. I am however bright enough to know that it's going to happen regardless of how many threads are started Sunday and Monday about it.
Either accept that, and do some parenting instead of trying to force your opinion on others, or simply leave your kids at home.

So there is just no way common decency can occur at a football game? That is your stance?
Maybe those that are offensive should alter their behavior to allow a younger generation to learn the traditions.
Of course that group is getting rid of the traditions, trading them for sucking dick and you suck chants.

This thread has made me decide to cuss more in Tiger Stadium.

Great... So now the kids lose, and don't get to watch LSU football at the game because the adults are too immature, irresponsible, and lack respect for anyone else, even kids, to control their own mouths in public.
Sure... That's the answer alright. Let the kids suffer because the adults are too childish to allow the kids to be around them and learn from their idiocracy and childishness.
That makes no sense whatsoever, and it's not fair to the kids.

I refer back to my post from a few days ago. If the Chicago Bulls reserve the right to toss verbally abusive patrons then so can LSU. I would like my kids to be able to attend sporting events without witnessing obvious public drunkeness and verbal abuse. It is not acceptable that we simply leave kids at home because someone thinks Tiger Stadium is an appropriate forum to be publicly drunk and abusive. This is not a freedom of speech issue and LSU would not be liable under any law for ejecting abusive patrons.

That would make sense, considering that you mock Les Miles in the photo associated with your alias.

I am glad you are weak enough to be influenced by a thread like this, it will make late night infomercial folks happy. Congrats.

Hey, if it helps to keep the holier than thou fun vacuum types out of the Stadium I'm glad to do my part. Get over yourselves. If you want to shelter your children leave them at home. God forbid they see someone drunk who uses foul language. Next thing you know they'll be having sex out of wedlock.

If this isn't defending cursing then what is it? Maybe whoever you are would have some consideration to/of those around you maybe you might remember what you where taught as a child, or maybe you wheren't but, I bet you do not or did not go into a school room saying such language for if you do or did you would be escourted to the principles office faster than you walked into that room.

This has nothing to do with forcing one's opinion on anyone it has entirely everything to do with respect to your fellow man or the lack there of. And to say simply leave you children at home should not be an alternative to this problem. What has happened to respect when it comes to such behavior?
If you are as old as I am then I need not have to remind you that you just did not do such things in public for if you did more times than not you would have been corrected faster than you can spell anything such as is what commonly comes out of the mouths of the todays youth and that is a lack of self control and respect for those around you. Just because you bought a ticket to go to the games it does not give you the right to say and do anything you want when with respect to those around you and that is something that needs to be considered the next time you go to a game.
Have a Great Day!

You are missing the point of the entire thread. Maybe you should go take a course in reading comprehension.
No one is a prude here. No one has said that they don't curse. The point is that there is a difference between saying go to hell and chanting suck my tiger dick. If you can't see the difference, you have a problem as much as the student section does.

So, let's see here. If you are trying to raise your kids with values and don't want them to be dropping F bombs at ten years old, you are a now holier than thou?
Can you get anymore irresponsible?
Is it possible?

So is that what you plan to tell the cops when you are arrested for public drunkeness and disorderly conduct? By the way are you even old enough to legally consume alcohol?

And you point is? As far as I've seen LSU does not choose to do this. If they do, I'll support it.
Until then though, everyone complaining needs to realize it will not stop before such actions occur.

There are tons of prudes in this thread and a few people that say they don't cuss at all. The suck that tiger dick is just lame.

Acknowledging that it will continue to occur is not the same as condoning it.
I didn't participate in the "Neck" stuff, but I sure as hell knew I would more than likely hear it if I went to the game.
That is NOT defending it.

And just because you bought a ticket doesn't give you a right to say how others should act. The America speech goes both ways. I liked "Neck," and I was hoping the other students would stop. But they didn't, Oh well, life goes on.
