His QB rating is 150 - which is 35th in the NCAA. Imagine what it would be without all the dropped passes.

to be fair......this is truth

then Rivers and Rettig can battle for the starting job in '14.

I think Anthony Jennings will have something to say about this.

The UDub game, he showed his outstanding potential. I had 3buddies in for that game who were UDub alumni, and they were frankly awe inspired by his talent throwing the football and managing the game, and his fearlessness standing tall and moving up in the pocket to avoid outside blitzes. That was the game he would have been near perfect had it not been for 6 WR dropped passes.

So has he regressed in his performance since that game...yes. But we saw what he is capable of doing. Let's stay supportive and behind Mett. Right now though, he does need to cut out the flowing around for the camera and show some serious leadership going into the FL game.

Yes, he should return. I was thinking this even before the season started.

So as a start to the backfield next yr, we'll have Mett & Blue & whatever other RB does not leave. Not a bad start.

It wasn't far fetched at all to think he could go pro after this year. He has the arm and size to be a prototypical NFL QB. Those specs are at a premium in the league. If he was tearing it up, which was a distinct possibility given his history and potential, he would be a lock for a 1st round pick. Kid has a CANNON and throws a pretty ball.

Obviously he wasn't as mature or as decisive as we thought he was.

Looks like he'll return and then become an insurance agent or restaurant manager.

With the exception of Russel Shepard, all of our receivers will be returning, in addition to the incoming freshmen and returnees from either injury (Dural) or academics (Johnson).
