LSU could have won with either QB. To say otherwise is blind, biased speculation.

Totally disagree but that is your opinion and I respect it

Not sure what your argument is. JJ played well enough to help the team win that bama game.

He didn't make any mistakes that cost the team.

The way lee was playing was not inductive of a qb that was going to lead the team to victory.

Glad you can see into the future, that doesn't exist. He may or may not have been able to put it together if JJ were not an option.

LSU could have won the game with either Lee or JJ as QB.

OK then, JJ did not cause us to lose the Alabama game. Or to put it in question format: What did JJ do to not lose the Alabama game that JL would have done to cause us to not lose the Alabama game?

we are 10-0 with both guys so why does it matter

I am just pointing this out to the idiots who said otherwise... It's been my point that both are necessary for years but LSU could still be 10-0 to this point with either.

Look at JJ's first half numbers when we were "struggling." They were stellar.
Why has JJ played in every first half?

Then we blow up the lead later in the game, and JJ wasn't playing particularly well.
What's this got to do with the argument over the article?

quote:

Are you really blaming the close first half of last night on JJ's play? I'm not understanding this, because he played well in the first half.
This is not what the thread is about. But I do have to ask, outside of the discussion of the article, how could he play well and we struggle? I have not watched a replay yet.

Yes, he very much is. It just so happens he nailed one here. I can't help it if one quote made your butt hurt so badly that you could not read the rest.

I'm not even going to look into the posting history, but you definitely said last year, "LSU doesn't win those games without Jarrett Lee."

Which directly contradicts this whole abstract point you are trying to make now.

Par for the course for you though. You've run away from the argument at this point, speaking in abstracts.

Who the hell knows? You don't believe if JJ wasn't an option that this coaching staff (which you all believe is incapable of making wrong decisions) wouldn't have adjusted?

Either QB could have been on the winning team, solo. To argue against is just ridiculous. I stand behind my point.

If that's the case why wouldnt les just say so?
I have no problems with it, if thats how he felt.

I don't think that is true. If either one of them took all the snaps this year in every game. I really don't see lsu being undefeated at this point. I'm thankful for both qbs.

Never said it. I have said Lee came in and threw the winning pass, under pressure.

WTF does it have to do with this season regardless of who said it? Just trying to back off your assertion that JJ won the Bama game??

He doesn't have to? My guess is his idea was to put JJ in situations where he was throwing from the pocket.

I didn't say that, any where.

But saying JJ WON the game is totally different than saying we would have won that game with or without him or Lee.

JJ didn't WIN the Alabama game.

But I don't think we win that game without him. Much like Florida last year and Lee.

Good. You agree with me, when you were bitching like a little girl when I said the same thing earlier.
