I never mentioned bias.
Then I wasn't talking to you. There are other people in this thread.

Guilbeau is not a troll. He just hates Miles.
Nope. He doesn't hate Miles. He sells his schtick to people who hate Miles. He's adding on this recent JJ/Lee act to his routine.

He is all my paper publishes.
There's this amazing invention called the internet that allows you to read any paper in the world... or even columnists who aren't in the paper.

He nailed this one.
I highly doubt it. I follow my own advice and don't read him. But the quotes in this thread were stunning with their incisive wit.

I have not been duped.
Yeah, you have. You fell for a Guilbeau column. Reading it was your first mistake. Believing it was your second. Talking about it was your third.

It's amazing to me that a columnist EVERYONE knows is a complete hack can once again post something equally as stupid and derisive about our team, and people are applauding him and saying he's right.
Kind of like screenshots of passes by our teams quarterback? You talking about that kind of derisiveness?

But don't let the truth stand in the way of all your insults.

I swear, Bee. I feel like we're the only two people in LSU Nation who haven't lost their frickin' minds.

I just don't understand it either. Wish people would enjoy this special season.

Yes it is since JJ didn't win the game for LSU and didn't do anything Lee could not have done to win the game.
Roger, you are really not making any sense at this point.
Everyone that watched the game saw the same thing:
-Lee struggled and was turning it over.
-The north/south power run game wasn't there.
These are the things we've relied upon to win us games all season long (on offense).
Miles put JJ in to stretch the defense wide, as the outside run game was working. Lee cannot stretch the defense wide on outside run plays.
He chose to play ball control offense and needed to move the ball on the ground and that wasn't going to happen with Lee in the game and the n/s running game being stuffed over and over.
You aren't making some abstract genius point about this being a "team victory." Everyone acknowledges the primary reason LSU won that game was because of defense and special team and Nick Saban's poor decision making, but JJ played a vital part in that as well, by doing things that Lee could not do.
It's not an insult to Lee. It's just the facts of it.

LSU sored 6 pts in the game. They could have won with anyone at QB. The tigers could be undefeated if Lee or JJ played the entire season with the other not on the roster.
To believe LSU couldn't have scored 6 pts with 2/3rds of the game left, with Lee at QB would take a herculean effort of moronic proportion.

It is a surprise that Miles did not somehow get Jefferson named homecoming king at halftime or have him ride out beforehand on top of Mike the Tiger's cage.
You think this is great journalism? Something is wrong with you.

The thing is, you are doing the exact thing you are accusing of others in this thread.
On the one hand you are saying, "You can't know what would have happened if Lee stayed in."
Then you are saying, "We definitely would have scored with Lee in, the QB didn't matter."
You can't have your cake and eat it to. You were also wrong about the points scored with JJ at the helm.
Like I said, you don't really have a "point" here, but you are trying awfully hard and speaking down to a lot of people for the sake of pumping up your own ego.

I don't understand how roger possibly could have watched that game and thought lee was giving us as good of a chance to win that game as Jefferson.

quote:That was just funny. But if you don't admit there is a basis for it, then you are biased to the point where you cannot have a reasonable discussion of the issue.

There isn't a basis for it. Especially to write something as unprofessional as that.
