My thought was that at the time he wrote that particular paragraph he was thinking that today is Monday, because he goes on to talk about an e-mail that he received on Sunday afternoon.

I thought is was Monday, but maybe the pressure is too great. News would also be diluted tomorrow by NFL results if they held it today.

Yeah, but the whole "I did receive an e-mail Sunday afternoon" thing really makes me think he thought today was Monday. After all he certainly is no spring chicken.

It's funny to think that we're going to a guy for "special information" that has a problem figuring out what day it is....
