nonsense. Maybe the first few plays, but not 20. That's far too high of a number. Playcalling has to react, in real time, to what the defense gives us and what is working.

Almost every team at every level has their first 15-20 plays scripted. They are to see how the defense reacts so they can make adjustments and exploit a weakness later.

with our total of about 60-65 plays per game, that would be nearly a third of the game. No OC is going to keep to a script for that long.
Sure, an OC comes into each game with an idea of what plays they want to run, and they may script the first handful. But no OC is going to keep to a 20 play script. Defenses change, down and distance changes, situations change. OCs have to adjust on the fly.

hand off the LF to right side of guard. If Les goes really crazy it might be over tackle. Somewhere in the 3 feet space.
