Well...yeah. Me not thinking he's a great coach is my opinion. I have facts to support why I don't think he is, but shite for brains is saying anyone who doesn't think he's a great coach is a "liar." Is it the TRUTH that he's a great coach?

I asked how you knew this recently, and your response was "I don't divulge sources." So until you give me something else I have to assume this is just made up.

quote:

Anyway, the reason we improved against Alabama last year is that we stopped running Les Miles' old antiquated offense

Canada's offense. Compare that to Ensminger's the year before. And you can't say he was just running Les's offense because in just about every other game, save Florida, the offense looked much better.

quote:

it doesn't mean it is O's fault.

When O gets in front of a microphone during the press conference and says "blame me," is he a liar?

And referring back to what another poster asked, does he deserve credit for the Auburn win but not deserve blame for the Troy loss?

Overall 6-6

Not even O can drag LSU to 6-6 that fast.

It will be another failed season for O, but probably 8-4 or 7-5.

These are the posts that drive me fricking crazy.

"You're opinion sucks, I know what's gonna happen, you dont."

Btw, I think Brennan may do well, but both QBs are extremely inexperienced. To just make a blanket statement like that just doesn't seem all that bright to me.

He averaged 9 wins a year. 1-How is that not doing a good job? 2-how is O improving on that?

Give me a break, had we at least had a decent coach as opposed to Les Miles during the same time period, we would have won one or two more national championships if not more.

I shouldn’t even give you the time of day since it’s absolutely stupid to suggest a coach that won a national championship and played for another was mediocre.

Whatever you are smoking package it up and put it for sale. You will get very rich very fast. The only reason LSU won and became the first and only two-loss team to ever win a National Championship in 2007, is because a miracle happened and we lucked out backing our way into that game after Miles lost two games to two teams we should never have lost to.

Moreover, all those players were primarily Nick Saban's players and not Les Miles' players.

But what about 2006 and 2011? Had we had a decent head coach, as opposed to Les Miles, that would have been at least two more national championships.

Furthermore, take out those two losses we suffered last year due to Les Miles, and yes it is very safe to say that coach O is doing a better job than Les Miles.

If I didn't know better, I'd say it sounds like you're saying Orgeron would have won the national championship in '06 and '11 if he had been the coach instead of Miles.

WOW... Im sorry but LSU should have been able to start its SCOND team at EVERY position and STILL beat Troy... NOW I will say this.. Troy was A decent team last year... But nowhere near the talent level of LSU.....

Well normally that's the case at LSU, but not when you inherit a former Les Miles coached football team.

quote:

Playing WITH and Winning are TWO VERY different things..........

I didn't have nearly as bad of a taste in my mouth after last year's lost like I used to have because I saw that we could have very easily have won that game. Maybe that doesn't mean anything to you coach O haters, but it does to those of us who aren't nearly as oblivious as you and your ilk are.

quote:

Who was coaching the team that night??? Miles or O????????????

The guy that was coaching the team last year didn't cause the problem. The previous coach who he inherited the team from caused the problem, which was Les Miles. Thus, those two losses are Les Miles'fault as opposed to O.

quote:

So what happened in the bowl game????

Like I said, very apparently you can't read, but that loss in the bowl game, like the loss to Florida the year before, was a fluke loss.

Anyone who watched both of those games in the bowl game and in the 2016 loss to Florida could easily see that LSU had the better team on the field in both those losses.

Once again, you didn't answer my question. ...Or any of my questions, which are all more than fair.

I actually agree with most of this. But again, I think a big reason why we were able to compete in that game was the offense. Canada's offense. Which O ditched to go back to the guy who put up 0 the year before. I know it's futile asking you to explain anything, but care to explain?

What about the Auburn game? Or the Florida game where we won on a missed extra point?

I’m sure you credit Les for the Auburn win too, right?

Hell no, why should I? By that time, all the players that had been previously injured had returned and were back playing in that game.

Meanwhile, all you coach O haters in that massive meltdown on the Rant after the Troy State game all said that O wouldn't win four games for the regular season, but he went 6 and 1. Did you loons all eat your crow already?

So was it the injuries, or Les that lost the Troy game? You're contradicting yourself.
