This is an unofficial depth chart, based upon last season, the Spring Game, and various news articles. In other words, this is fan-made guess work.
I have been doing these for a few years now, and the current occasion for the present post is the updated Official LSU Football Roster with new jersey numbers, etc. Enjoy!

I keep thinking 8-4, then I look at that roster and start getting optimistic. I’ve never seen more talent at WR, offensive line and defensive line. At OL and WR, we’ve got guys sitting the bench who would start at most SEC schools.

QB play will determine this team’s season. Coach BK has done a good job filling the holes in the lineup.

Agreed. I just hope all the transfers in the secondary pan out.

IMO, Jones will surpass Thomas by the start of the season.

Jones and Campbell are the two best “ready to play” true freshmen offensive linemen LSU has had for a long time.

Finally got some men at Cornerback and not some thin soft dudes. This is coming from a guy typing on his keyboard lol.

Todd Harris is the true tiger that every fan should be clamoring over instead of Brennan. I don’t think Harris ever went into the portal or had a “fishing trip”.

Thinking the same.

I think its winning early no matter how we get it done. It will take some games to jell as a unit but we are going to be a much better team as the season goes by. If we can win early in the season we will be very competitive by the end of the year.

Not sure where, but K Lacey is going to get a good bit of playing time.

I knew kolbe fields when he played at rummel

That kid could hit a baseball further than any of the juniors and seniors when he was in 8th grade, not joking. Hell of an athlete

Linebacker and secondary leave a lot to be desired. Lots of question marks. I’m optimistic but you can’t see the names on paper right now and say “oh yeah, this looks awesome”

I think linebacker and secondary are just fine. Baskerville, Jones, Weeks have played college football a few years and Penn is coming on strong and the recruits coming are top notch. Secondary is very physical and all the transfers are legit with Welch coming in as a future star. Only place I see that is really weak is tight end. We really need the two Taylor’s to contribute because I know Kelly likes to use that position.

My worry spot at least early on until they gel is OL. On the other side holy shite that DL looks deadly.

I am not high on Jenkins taking a step forward. I really think you are going to see the trio of Nabers, Lacy, and Thomas working with Bech and Boutte a lot.

I count about 77 true scholarship players on your graphic. 35 offense 42 defense

Specialists will get the total number into the low 80's.

Only having 35 on offense is a little light. Low on scholarship WR numbers at 8.
