She battled the hell out of cancer a couple of times toward the end. She is now pain free after a life well lived.

I had the pleasure of doing work at their house. Mrs Sandy sat and talked to me for several hours as if we knew each other. From there she recognized me at a baseball game and we actually became acquaintances. For many years I would stop by and say hello, she would always have time to talk.
This sucks.
