Some of these are long shots and some are wishful thinking.

1) Alleva, F King and company get fired.

2) Will Wade survives, learns from his mistakes and in the future does all of the "little things" necessary to compete in a corrupt basketball league in a more "business savvy" manner. There by keeping LSU basketball competitive but off the NCAA radar.

3) Will Wade survives but is considered damaged goods by potential blue blood suitors who would try to lure him away. Therefore LSU gets to keep him for a long time without having to compete with huge contract offers from Duke, UNC and others. ( Let's face it, Coach K and Roy Williams aren't getting any younger)

Will Wade cleared and reinstated in April, Alleva King and everyone else fired, New AD by July.

Best scenario. A+ almost.

You know the most likely scenario?

Will Wade gets fired. LSU basketball self imposes a penalty worse than the NCAA would have come up with. Alleva and King are praised for their efforts and cooperation and remain at LSU for the foreseeable future.

Something. Anything other than what he did. It's so surprising to me because he dots all his I's and crosses all of his T's on EVERYTHING else but the one thing he absolutely couldn't afford to frick up, he fricks up. Missing shooting free throws at the end of practice might lose a game for you but it won't get you fired. Talking in person about shady stuff on the phone can. He should know this. He got sloppy and it may cost him everything. But damnit he made sure they all shot free throws before the end of practice.

Are you under the impression that the people who they report to are unhappy with them?

They’d be gone a long time ago.

You don’t think the NCAA is gonna keep a close eye on us even if everything is cleared?

Oh, they will keep a close eye on us for awhile until some shiny new scandal pops up. Then they'll be off to buzz around some other campus.
