If Southern really asked to be sent elsewhere, I'm guessing they would honor that with an easy option of McNeese to pick from.

Had A&M hosted I would have said they get McNeese. Now I think they come here. Southern is one of the weakest 4 seeds RPI wise, so I think they go to a national seed. Maybe Miss State.

Well I think he makes a good point. The options of places his team is likely to go will not include an easier road for them. Texas Tech, Miss St or maybe Ole Miss are possible destinations. If it was just about an easier path, I would have to think he would have rolled the dice with LSU.
