1. 9 regular season wins and a chance at a legit bowl game, for a team that was widely projected to go 7-5.

2. A statement win over the #2 team in the country and current SEC East Champions (The only reason they are not currently #2 in the country is because of your beloved Tigers).

3. Joe Burrow. We have a Quarterback folks.

4. Cole Tracy. We haven't been this excited about a kicker in a LONG time. A legit Lou Groza contender. Only thing that sucks about Cole Tracy is that we only had him for 1 season.

5. Devin White. We will absolutely miss this kid. One of the greatest LBers to ever wear Purple & Gold. Everything you could want in a player and more.

6. The LSU Secondary. Yet another Top 10 draft pick out of DBU in Greedy. Getting to see Kristian Fulton play this season was a real treat and something we didn't expect during the summer. Best of all, we get to see Grant Delpit play another year. What a player he has become.

7. Nick Brossette. Exceeded expectations imo. Great senior leader and thankful for his contributions the last 4 years, after battling back from injury and an incredibly difficult family situation.

Plenty of positives to take from this season. Honestly, we are 1 second, a hand full of bad calls, 7 OTs and 2 pts from talking about 2018 for a long time.

Feel free to add more!

Projections like that were before Before transferring. That was with McMillan as a start in mind.. and for me it was without Fulton. The combination of the two for me were always good for another 2-3 more wins..

Also, in hindsight, LSU beat everyone they should outside of Georgia, and they dropped 2 games they should not have.. So it more than even itself out..

To me there is nothing to really build on.

Miami and Auburn seemed like huge wins out the time, but I always had us beating Miami.. and both teams turned into straight trash.. and finish unranked?

We were primed for that upset at home coming off a loss to Florida. Still an awesome win, but again.. we lost games I felt we shouldn't have.. and that hurts more.

I like Burrow, but will we continue to stay limited with the play calling.. Remember it's still the same staff currently. I don't expect much change. He went through a long drought of no passing TDs.. and it's more of a reflection of coaching than the player IMO. I believe you absolutely can scheme guys to be open and even wide open.

Congrats. Stinks we only have him 1 season, but glad he came here.

He is awesome.

Fulton's injury may help us sure up getting him back another season. That's huge.

Brossette was better than I ever envisioned. Props to him.

I don't see plenty at all. Not even close.

Lots of the same old problems. Especially on the offensive line. Even defensive line depth came into question once some guys got hurt..

Some positives on the recruiting trail. I am pumped to get Emery. Will give credit there.

reminds me of Talladega Nights

It's not always bad to be in last place. Here's some things we can focus on: One, we tried hard. And two, we're still dear friends!

And yet still underachieved so, no. It is great that we still are in the hunt for a big bowl game but to celebrate a 9 win season when we should have won at least one of the games with UF/TAMU, this is not a huge positive.

I don't either. This team will be thin at oline and Dline next season. It will not get more physical. Look at Jr.s and Sr.s on the line leaving. This recruiting class has a few lineman in it but it's heavy on skill. We will not improve until we are minimum 2 deep with top talent on both lines. If we can't block and get 1 yard on 2nd and 1 twice in the first quarter and couldn't muster 1 first down to run out the clock in the 4th what is going to be the reason we can do it next season? E is going nowhere. We have 21st century talent on offense runnuni 1970' offense.
